The "راحتك | Rahtak" application is a platform that connects customers (whether homeowners, store owners, or business operators) with experienced service providers such as plumbers, electricians, carpenters, blacksmiths, painters, and other home maintenance specialists. Customers may request services to be carried out at a specific location, and providers ("technicians") offer their expertise to fulfill these requests.
By using the application, you agree implicitly to all the terms and conditions stated here. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must refrain from using the application.
"راحتك | Rahtak" reserves the right to update or change the terms and conditions without prior notice. Users are responsible for reviewing these terms regularly to stay informed about updates. "راحتك | Rahtak" is not obligated to notify users of such changes. We also recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy to understand how Rahtak collects, uses, and protects your information.
Commitments
By using the "راحتك | Rahtak" application, you undertake and acknowledge the following:
- You must have a valid personal ID if you are a citizen registering as a service provider.
- You will comply with all applicable laws in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
- All personal and professional information you provide to "راحتك | Rahtak" is accurate and up to date.
- You will promptly update your information if there are any changes.
- You will comply with all notices and instructions provided by "راحتك | Rahtak".
- You will not use client information obtained through "راحتك | Rahtak" for any purpose outside the scope of providing the requested services.
- You will not misuse the application for fraudulent purposes, harassment, or theft of personal information.
- You will not engage in any behavior that damages "راحتك | Rahtak" reputation, disrupts its operations, or harms its users.
- You will not copy or distribute the content of the application without written approval from "راحتك | Rahtak" management.
- You will provide accurate details regarding your identity, skills, and service capabilities.
Service Process & Responsibilities
- The customer is responsible for clearly describing the required service and providing accurate location details before confirming a booking.
- The service provider must inspect the task requirements, confirm the scope of work, and agree on the cost through the application before starting.
- If additional work is required beyond the agreed scope, the provider must obtain customer approval through the application before proceeding.
- If payment is in cash, the provider must ensure they receive the agreed amount in full upon completion of the service.
- For wallet or electronic payments, the provider must confirm receipt of payment before leaving the site.
Prohibited Activities
"راحتك | Rahtak" prohibits the use of the platform for the following:
- Requesting or performing services that are illegal under Jordanian law.
- Handling or installing stolen or counterfeit materials.
- Performing work without the required licenses or certifications (when applicable).
- Engaging in activities that pose health, safety, or environmental hazards (e.g., unsafe electrical work, unapproved chemical handling).
- Transporting or using banned materials or dangerous substances prohibited by law.
- Providing false qualifications or impersonating another service provider.
Service Cancellation
Customers can cancel a request without fees at any time before a provider is assigned.
Once a provider is assigned and the service is confirmed, cancellation is only permitted if:
- The provider is more than the agreed time late without notifying the customer.
- The provider is unable to perform the agreed service due to lack of necessary skills or tools.
- Providers cannot cancel a confirmed booking without a valid reason.
Right to Restrict Access
"راحتك | Rahtak" management has the right to suspend or block any customer or provider from using the application, with or without cause. Users have no right to object or claim compensation if access is restricted.
Dispute Resolution & Applicable Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes, claims, or disagreements arising from the use of "راحتك | Rahtak" will be resolved in accordance with these laws.
